Sara Hillyer

I started Hillyer Accounting & Strategy after 21 years in accounting and finance because I realized the kind of work I enjoy most just doesn't happen in a big corporate environment.

It's in the details. It's rolling up my sleeves, getting into the books, and working directly with owners and leadership teams who are building something real.

I wanted to work more closely with businesses that need a true financial partner—someone who can clean things up, put strong processes in place, and help make sense of the numbers in a way that actually drives decisions.

I love a good plug-and-play solution, a tight cash flow forecast, and helping founders think through what their numbers are telling them—and what to do next. I enjoy building KPIs that move the business forward and being part of the conversations around strategy and profitability—not just reporting on results.
